BRYNT BEITMAN
It’s reinforced my idea of the dancers as a chameleon, being able to adjust constantly during the day

AboutSchedule

Monday through Friday begins with a 10:00 a.m. ballet or contemporary class.

The first week, the dancers are divided into three groups for the afternoon session of 3 hours, to work with 5 different dance companies over 5 days.

At the end of the first week, Artistic Director Alexandra Wells, in conjunction with invited choreographers and a casting team, will decide on the casting for the following two weeks. This casting places each dancer with one of the 9 companies or choreographers, with whom the dancer will work every afternoon, for the remainder of the project. This “work in progress” will be shown on the last evening.

In addition, project participants may opt to work with the Emerging Choreographers in rehearsals, 5-7 p.m. each evening.
